I am new to affiliate marketing and I have been doing all the things you speak of here... looking for the "perfect" recipe, or trying to do it my own way and skipping key steps. I have what I believe is an excellent recipe and I think that, for me, passion about the product is going to be key. This post has inspired to go back to the beginning of the recipe and start fresh, following ALL of the steps. For the time being, I am not even going to LOOK at any other "recipes".
